The articles this month will provide you with insight into current exploration opportunities based on aspects of the Exploration Insights product suite.
BEYOND CHARGE PREDICTION: UTILISING ORGANIC GEOCHEMISTRY TO REFINE GEOLOGICAL PREDICTIONS
Integrating a global dataset and geochemical understanding to derive paleoenvironmental interpretations, which allow geologists to utilise the data without the need to understand complex geochemical theory.
USING A GLOBAL ANALOGUE DATASET TO PREDICT CARBONATE RESERVOIR QUALITY AND ECONOMIC VIABILITY WITHIN FRONTIER AREAS
How can we better understand a frontier carbonate reservoir offshore Somalia?
TRUST ME, I’M A GEOLOGIST — COMMUNICATING DATA VS. MODEL DRIVEN INTERPRETATION
Communicating levels of data support behind 2D geologic interpretation.
GREAT GEOLOGISTS: LOUIS AGASSIZ
Louis Agassiz is celebrated for his promotion of the theory that the Earth had been subjected to an ice age in the recent geological past. He is also noted for his work on fossil fish, which ironically gave support to Darwin’s ideas on evolution, a concept that Agassiz vehemently opposed.
